Papa John’s is one of the most well-known pizza chains in the United States. For the past few weeks, the company has been facing difficulty due to controversy surrounding comments made by the company’s former CEO.
In an attempt to get the company back on track and in the good graces of the pizza buying consumer, the current CEO of Papa John’s Steve Ritchie has issued and an apology. He wants the company to turn the corner and get back to serving customers in the best way possible.
Steve Ritchie has stated that the last few weeks have been among the most difficult that he has faced during the over 20 years that he has been affiliated with Papa John’s. Mr. Ritchie issued an apology to those who were offended by remarks made by former company executives. Mr. Ritchie went on to state that Papa John’s is a company made up of thousands of people. Steve Ritchie has made it quite clear that Papa John’s will not tolerate any type of racist comments by any of its employees at any level of the company. No forms of insensitive or offensive language will be allowed.
In order to help get the company back on track, Steve Ritchie is bringing in outside experts to do an audit of Papa John’s.
